This is a piece of copy I did for a special Levi’s edition of Soundvenue Magazine. e-Types was asked to produce a piece on Levi´s seen from our vantage point. The text is a wild romp through the rock n’ roll side of Levi’s, referencing subcultures, bands, songs and icons associated with denim as rebellion.

Fragments
I found this rummaging around my desktop. It´s a short stop-motion I did for an internal presentation a couple of years ago. It is based on “Fragments” – a book e-Types published describing the firm and the culture, identity and inspirations in pictures rather than text. I basically just compiled it and set it to music.
The tune is by White Rose Movement; “Girls in the Back” from their debut album “Kick”. No special reason why I chose that track – just that it was stuck on repeat on the office stereo. (Sorry if I am infringing on copyright – the video has never been in commercial use.)
